Francis Fagbule is a dentist from Nigeria. He is a senior resident, Community Dentistry (dental public health) at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. He has a Master’s degree in Global Health from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and is currently doing a Master’s in Public Health at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, South Africa.
Dr. Francis is an early career researcher with a particular interest in tobacco control and oral cancer. He has led and participated in several research studies and presented in local and international conferences. Dr. Francis works as the Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Ibadan Postgraduate Medicine and, as the program director, Tobacco Research & Advocacy Group, Cephas Health Research Initiative Inc., Nigeria.
He is a member of the Africa Centre for Tobacco Industry Monitoring and Policy Research (ATIM), and the Society for Research on Nicotine & Tobacco (SRNT), USA. Away from research and public health practice, Dr. Fagbule loves public speaking, dancing, and travelling.
